PRODUCTION & MATERIALS
Our jewellery is handmade with love and high-vibrational intentions in Phibsborough, Dublin by Alexandra Rae Murray.
The jewellery is made of recycled 925 sterling silver with a thick layer hard gold plating (3 micron 18k gold vermeil). All jewellery is quality assured and hallmarked at Dublin Castle's Assay office.
Our gold chains and earring hooks are 14k gold-filled which is formed by multiple layers of 14k gold pressure bonded on to high-quality jeweller’s brass. The gold is not blended with the base metal and is hypoallergenic so those with brass allergies can typically wear it with no issues. Gold-filled jewellery retains it’s gold colour for decades – much longer than chains that are gold-plated. All Sterling silver chains are made from 925 serling silver.

PACKAGING
Our packaging is Eco-friendly and sourced in Europe. FSC®certified products / FSC Mix 70%. The FSC® mark guarantees that all materials come from an FSC® forest, where no more wood is cut down than the forest can reproduce. This means better protection of the animal- and plant life, and all foresters have proper training, safety equipment and a decent wage.

SPECIAL CARE GUIDELINES
Our hard-gold plated jewellery has a thick coating of 3 microns of 18k gold over a base of 925 recycled sterling silver and requires special care. To extend the life of hard-gold plated jewellery avoid water, store in airtight bag or Alexandra Rae box when not in use and avoid chemicals. Hard gold-plated jewellery will fade to a warm silver over time. The rate of wear depends on care, climate and individual body chemistry, and may vary greatly on a case by case basis. As rings are worn on the hand, and are exposed to more frequent rubbing, they will often age more quickly than necklaces or earrings. We offer free re-plating of our jewellery if a piece tarnishes within the first year of purchase and a fee of €11 after that.
